About 700 guests, over 20 speakers, dozens of interviews, hundreds of discussions and ideas for new online projects – this is the simplest way to sum up e-nnovation 2011.
This year conference showed how strong the impact of online business is and how it involves other sectors such as retail or banking. At the e-nnovation we had CEOs of the most important brands online as well as offline, the most popular names of global online business, investors and startupers. The e-nnovation guests created a unique atmosphere full of cooperation, experience and enthusiasm.
Many experts shared their experience and forecasts for the future of e-trade. Those include: Eric Ly, the founder of LinkedIn and Tara Hunt, a pioneer of online marketing and one of the most respected experts in the field of creating online communities. Over 550 participants, 20 lectures, 2 days full of exciting experiences, new connections, a lot of knowledge and practical conclusions for the future – that’s how e-nnovation 2010 turned out to be.
During e-nnovation we discussed opportunities and challenges for European e-commerce market. We were also talking about geolocation, social shopping via Twitter/Facebook and using mobile phones to shop online. Those novelties may soon become just a part of shopper’s everyday life. Moreover, Mike Butcher considered the possible rise of European equivalent of the Silicon Valley that could be stimulated by the merge of existing technological clusters. Petteri Koponen mentioned the lack of capital as a significant barrier of the economic growth in Europe. E-nnovation speakers also included Tom Keller from TechStras, a company that provides financial support for innovative enterprises and Rafał Brzoska, the founder of InPost, who was talking about new e-commerce trends from a perspective of a delivery company.
